WILLMAR — Casey Borrego, 19, of Willmar, suffered non-life-threatening injuries Thursday after he hit an unoccupied vehicle, which caused his own truck to tip onto the driver's side, according to a news release from the Willmar Police Department.
Borrego was able to exit the vehicle before emergency responders arrived and was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The news release said Borrego was eastbound around 4:53 a.m. Thursday on Gorton Avenue Northwest where he hit a vehicle that was parked and unoccupied in the 2200 block. The impact caused Borrego's vehicle to tip over and block most of Gorton Avenue.
The crash is still under investigation and charges for Borrego are pending, the news release said.
